SYCAMORE GAP (ROBIN HOOD'S) TREE LIVES ON IN SAPLINGS!

Robin Hood's tree, a large and famous 200-year-old Sycamore tree adjacent to Hadrian's Wall in the UK was cut down by vandals in September of 2023, causing great dismay. There is good news, though! The tree has been regenerating itself with new shoots coming up from its roots. Even better, 49 saplings have been grown from the original tree's seeds, one for each foot of height that the original tree had, and are now being planted in various locations across the UK!
