DOING THE WORK OF ANGELS ON OUR PLANET

Dr. Denes Mukwege, of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is a loving man and humanitarian who started a hospital to care for the neglected and outcast women who are victims of savage rape. This African nation called "the rape capital of the world," and it is being used by gangs and soldiers at an increasingly horrific rate.

Raped women and the children that sometimes result from rape suffer even more than the injuries that frequently result, because they are ostracized, scorned and humiliated when others discover that they have been raped. They come from far and wide to see Dr. Mukege.
